Principal Overview

Benedict Ho is a seasoned investment professional with over two decades of experience across institutional asset management, hedge funds, and digital assets. He previously served as Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of MaiCapital, where he helped build one of Hong Kong’s early institutional virtual asset platforms. He is now the Founder of Block Ventures Group, focused on AI, digital assets, quant-driven strategies, and next-generation financial infrastructure.

He began his career in institutional finance, operating within a hedge fund platform overseeing approximately USD 6 billion in assets under management. He later managed pension fund mandates at Fubon Bank, developing a disciplined approach to portfolio construction, risk management, and capital preservation.

At MaiCapital, he helped develop regulated digital asset strategies and explored tokenization as an extension of institutional capital markets. Block Ventures Group represents his next chapter, built around long-term conviction in AI, digital assets, and financial infrastructure.

His investment approach is defined by selectivity, structural thinking, and a focus on long-term value creation. Areas of interest include artificial intelligence, quant trading, digital assets, and financial infrastructure.
